So, you want to do this at your house? Well, we can help. A lot. And the best part is that it’s easy. But all parties aren’t the same–far from it–and we get that. Yet this is the food and the feel that you’re after. OK. Think of it as different models of a car that have the same engine. Do you need a two-seater? A four? An SUV? One’s not better than the other; they just have different functions. What’s under the hood is basically the same.
Some hogs are better than others. And we only use the very best. Organic. No antibiotics. No hormones. Small, family farms. All from North Carolina. And we wouldn’t do it any other way. The rest of the food that we prepare has the same values at heart–the very best ingredients prepared with great attention to detail. So, no matter what kind of party you choose to have, you can be assured of our very best effort to guarantee that the occasion is a smashing success.
The differences between the three options hinges on the scale of the party and how much or how little you want us involved. It’s really a personal decision. We’re happy to help in any way we can to make the party exactly what you want.
Feast: Drop Off.
We get it. You just want us to bring you delicious food and get out of your hair. Done.
The most straight forward party is the Salt & Smoke Feast. At a specified time, we bring you food in chafing dishes and set up a buffet line. If you like, we can also provide disposable plates or you can rent traditional plates from us. We will then return at an appointed time to pick up the chafing dishes and everything else associated with the catering. And then you’re done. Easy as that.
Feeds approximately 40 people. Price is dependent on number of sides, delivery, and how hungry you are. Per person costs are reduced with larger numbers of guests.
Fiesta: Food & Service.
Food set up (BBQ + sides), the raw oyster show, service throughout event, bar, tableware.
So the Salt & Smoke Fiesta is more of an event and less of just a meal. Service is now added to the mix as are raw oysters shucked to order. There can also be a bar element added with beer, wine, and/or spirits. We provide plates and all tableware and can arrange for tables, chairs, linens, etc. that need to be rented. There is an onsite meeting to map out logistics and an assigned event coordinator who will be at the event to make sure everything goes as planned. We can also arrange for flowers and other design elements as needed. The Fiesta is designed for parties either indoors or out that are to last a minimum of 2 hours.

Festival: The Whole Shebang!
The whole shebang. At your house or place of work. All of the above (BBQ + sides + dessert) + smoker/show pig, raw bar and shuck your own oysters, an array of southern appetizers (smoked fish, pimento cheese, and the like). Service throughout–set-up to breakdown.
The Salt & Smoke Festival is just that; a festival. It’s a full-on southern party brought to you. Take the Salt & Smoke Fiesta and turn the volume up. Way up. We cook an entire pig just for you. And we pull the meat and chop it right before your guests. It’s quite the show. We’ll teach your guests how to really shuck a southern oyster. And we’ll design a cocktail just for you. There will be a litany of southern side dishes. And a jaw-dropping dessert. Let’s just say that not a single guest will be left wanting. All set-up and breakdown and service is provided. The Salt & Smoke Festival does require some outdoor space for the pig cooker.
